Panwa Bali Anchorage
7° 48.1′ N · 98° 24.1′ E
An anchorage off the southern tip of Cape Panwa that is more sheltered than Chalong when the NE monsoon is blowing, with a mangrove creek to explore by dinghy two miles to the north.
Practical
A drying reef fringes the beach, with an access channel through it at low tide (SEAP). Open to a long fetch in the SW monsoon, so use it mainly from Nov to Apr. The mangrove creek two miles north is reachable by dinghy from mid-tide. No depth or bottom figures are published; sound your way in.

Season
