NAOK Yacht Club Harbour (Corfu Town)

39° 37.2′ N · 19° 55.5′ E

The NAOK (Corfu Sailing and Rowing Club) basin sits on the south side of the Old Fortress at the head of Garitsa Bay — a small club harbour with laid lines, a short stroll from the Spianada. Not to be confused with Mandraki, which is inside the fortress on the north side.

Practical

Coordinate from mySea (club basin). Depth 3–4 m; stern-to on mooring lines; few short-stay berths, reservation recommended in high season; electricity, water and toilets listed by mySea. Contact VHF 72, tel 6972 117 001 (SailingIssues). A 2018 Noonsite report says visitors berthed stern-to on the north side of the wharf in May but found no space in June, and warns of an electricity cable running parallel to the wharf about 50 m off — keep your anchor short of it; that report also said there was no water or power at the time, so check what is working. Swell and Port Police fines reported for berthing in the small area east of the fishing harbour (Noonsite, 2018).

Best for

Walk-to-town berth on the Garitsa side

Season

Apr–Oct; limited space in peak season
