Corfu Cricket at Spianada

Cricket arrived with the British in the 19th century and never left: Corfu is the heart of Greek cricket, and matches on the grass of the Spianada below the Liston cafés are one of the island's most surreal sights. An annual cricket festival is held on the ground.
