A popular, sheltered anchorage among the inshore cays west of Green Island, with the tiny bug-free islet of Gorgidup just across the bay for quieter nights, campfires and reef snorkelling.

Coordinate approximate for Esnasdup: it is Spirit of Argo's verified Gorgidup waypoint, 09°28.150'N 078°40.034'W, 10 m sandy bottom with good holding, which they describe as 'due south of the more popular anchorage of Esnasdup', about 500 yards across the bay (March 2016); locate Esnasdup's own spot on your chart. At Gorgidup: limited protection if the wind gets up, fine in settled weather; dark patches off the west end are grass, not reef, so you can get close; reefs to snorkel on the east end and behind on the north side, with plenty of fish and lobster (do not take lobster: buy from Guna fishers in season). No bugs on Gorgidup, good for an evening fire. Rumours of a saltwater crocodile at Esnasdup in 2016. noforeignland's 2025 community guide rates Esnasdup 4.7 of 5: sheltered and peaceful with good holding and room for several boats, access to a veggie store and laundry service, snorkelling and wildlife sightings.
