A quiet, lagoon-like harbour between three mangrove cayes with a lobster and fishing camp on stilts, the traditional overnight stop for boats running between Placencia and Belize City or San Pedro; manatees are often seen.

Practical

Fresh fish or lobster from the camps in season (Moorings eGuide). No facilities. Shallow coral heads around (Moorings itinerary). Mosquitoes in calm weather.
