Sayonara Wreck (Turneffe)
17° 13.5′ N · 87° 56.0′ W · approximate
A small passenger and cargo boat that sank on Turneffe's western side in 1985 (Travel Belize), now a wreck dive in 40-60 ft; the 375-ft Witconcrete artificial-reef ship lies near it.
Practical
Position approximate and indicative only: placed on the western reef north of Blue Creek because Travel Belize puts the wreck on the western side; sources disagree (DivePlannerPro says the eastern reef flat) and give depth around 40-60 ft. Dive with a licensed Turneffe operator, who will know the buoy. Easy, sheltered leeward diving.
Best for
Easy wreck dive on the lee side
