Bagga Dub Restaurant (Isla Pinos)
8° 59.9′ N · 77° 45.5′ W · approximate
A small Caribbean-food restaurant on Isla Pinos, the forested island with the village and the three-hour walk, one of the few places to eat ashore in the far east of the comarca.
Practical
Coordinate approximate: OpenStreetMap's 'Bagga Dub' restaurant point (node 5654151221, cuisine Caribbean). SV Wild Fox (via Noonsite) met a villager named David who was trying to encourage tourism with his own 'restaurant' and advised visitors to judge it for themselves; whether this is the same place is unverified. Anchor off the church (see the Isla Pinos entry, $10 per 30 days, 2018) and land at the village dock. Order ahead for fish or lobster; cash only.
Best for
A meal ashore after the Isla Pinos walk
