Raccoon–Nairn reef snorkel
22° 20.9′ N · 75° 47.9′ W · approximate
A reef between Nairn and Raccoon Cays with shallow coral heads, sudden drop-offs to about 15 ft and plenty of fish and lobster.
Practical
Coordinate approx: pinned at the Man O' War Bay anchorage marker; the reef lies between the two cays. A 2023 reviewer warns of lots of fire coral and tide rips: go at slack water and wear a skin. GeoNames shows Racoon Cut at 22.3330, -75.8009 just south, so expect current. Bahamian fishing rules apply (Hawaiian sling only, no scuba).
