Nairn Cay
22° 20.9′ N · 75° 47.7′ W
The small cay that forms the east side of Man O' War Bay at the south end of Raccoon Cay; the reef between Nairn and Raccoon is one of the liveliest snorkels in the Raggeds.
Practical
Position from GeoNames (island). Ben Cay lies just south (GeoNames 22.3428, -75.7908). Enter Man O' War Bay from the south, close to either Nairn Cay or Raccoon Cay, because a 4-ft shoal sits in the middle; good holding toward the north end of the bay (ActiveCaptain). The reef between the cays has fire coral and tide rips with sudden drop-offs to about 15 ft: snorkel at slack water. Land on the Raccoon Cay beach on the west side of the bay. The beach collects plastic washed in from the ocean.
