Little Harbour Old Lighthouse Walk

26° 19.8′ N · 76° 59.7′ W

A short walk out the headland from Little Harbour to the ruins of the old Little Harbour light (built c. 1889) for one of the best views in South Abaco - the reef, Little Harbour Bar and the open Atlantic.

Practical

Light was listed as Fl W 4s, 19 m focal height, NGA 11808 / Admiralty J4576, but a March 2019 cruiser report says it is abandoned with the skeleton tower lying on the ground - do not use it as a navigation aid. Follow paths from the harbour; wear shoes for limestone and bring bug spray. There is also an Atlantic overlook across the boardwalk behind Pete's.

Best for
