The private resort that covers Palm Island runs two restaurants, the Royal Palm and the Sunset Grill, and two bars. In normal times yachties anchored off the west beach could ask about dining, but the resort has been closed since Hurricane Beryl.

Discover SVG and Audley Travel describe the island as private to resort guests, with day visitors traditionally limited to the beach bar at the south end of the west beach. Doyle (2025): 'The resort and its amenities are currently closed after Hurricane Beryl'; the anchorage and beach remain open. The resort website listed in OpenStreetMap no longer resolves (checked October 2026). Call Palm Island on VHF 16 before landing to ask whether any food service has reopened and whether non-guests are accepted; do not assume reservations are possible.
