Happy Island Bar
12° 35.6′ N · 61° 24.6′ W
A tiny man-made island built from conch shells on the reef in the middle of Clifton Harbour, topped by a thatched bar - the place for a sundowner while kitesurfers fly past.
Practical
Position from OpenStreetMap; Wikipedia describes the man-made island and bar. Reach it by dinghy from the mooring field; tie up carefully on the reef side. A 2017 cruiser was served unordered drinks and food and charged heavily, so confirm prices and order explicitly. Post-Beryl status: Doyle (2025) still lists Happy Island among Union's restaurants; check it is open before you go.
Best for
A sunset drink on a conch-shell islet
