Koh Lading (Koh Lao Lading) Paradise Beach
8° 6.2′ N · 98° 41.0′ E
A small cliff-ringed island in the Hong archipelago, nicknamed Paradise Island, with a tiny palm-backed sandy bay, limestone caves and clear water for swimming.
Practical
Position from the OpenStreetMap beach outline on Ko Lao La Ding (island outline centred 8.10324N 98.68271E), about 1.5 nm north of Koh Hong. In Than Bok Khorani National Park, not the Phi Phi park; that park's entry fee may be collected (verify locally). Formerly a swiftlet-nest concession, it was removed from the collection list and opened to visitors (TAT via Pattaya Mail). Day-tour longtails from Ao Nang and Nopparat Thara take about 45 minutes, so arrive early or late. The Pilot gives no anchorage here: treat it as a calm-weather day stop from the Koh Hong or Koh Pak Bia anchorages, and land by dinghy.
