An anchorage off the small bay at the north end of Pasai / Long Beach, where rustic Sabai Corner bungalows, beach restaurants and bars stay open all year.
Practical
Southeast Asia Pilot waypoint 08°6.207N 98°37.464E, about 24 nm from Yacht Haven. Anchor in 4–6 m off the southern end of the small bay. Drying coral banks fringe the beaches at low tide, so land at mid-tide or higher. The Green mini-mart near the Pyramid Bar sells alcohol, ice and bread (no halal section); a better-stocked supermarket is about 3 km north near Six Senses. Hire a motorbike with a sidecar for shopping. A concrete ring road links the beaches, resorts and the ferry pier.
