Caleta Mujeres Anchorage (San Francisquito)
28° 27.4′ N · 112° 53.2′ W · approximate
The little coves just north of Bahía San Francisquito, reached on foot over the bluffs or by a short hop — an overflow and alternative to the main bay.
Practical
Coordinate is approximate: the OpenStreetMap 'Cala Mujeres' bay label, nudged into the cove. The Online Cruising Guide names the Las Mujeres coves as the fourth anchoring area at San Francisquito and describes the hike along the bluffs between the main bay and Caletas Mujeres; The Log lists Caleta Mujeres and Caleta Niños among the San Francisquito-area south-wind shelters. No depths or bottom detail in the sources — sound in and check your set; small and open to the north, so use the main bay's inner cove in a norther. Currents accelerate and eddy off the points. No services anywhere at San Francisquito — carry all fuel and water (The Log).
