The public market at the south end of downtown St John's for local fruit, vegetables, meat and fish: the place to buy Antigua black pineapples and whatever the farmers brought in.

Pin is the OpenStreetMap 'Public Meat Market' building on Kentish Road at the south end of town; the produce stalls are in the same market district (approximate). Groceries in St John's are often cheaper than at the marinas (Noonsite). Taxi or bus from Jolly Harbour, or dinghy in from the St John's anchorage.
