Othonoi is a small hiker's paradise: trails link every settlement and climb Mount Imerovigli (Merovigli) for sweeping views across the Diapontia and out over the Adriatic.

Coordinate is the summit (OpenStreetMap 'Imerovigli'). Start from Ammos (SailingIssues). A white stone cross at Stavros (217 m) commemorates the 1537 massacre of the islanders by Barbarossa's fleet (Wikipedia). Carry water; little shade at midday.
