Benitses Marina

39° 32.9′ N · 19° 54.8′ E

A small modern marina in the former fishing harbour of Benitses, 9 km south of Corfu Town, opened in 2021 — all-round shelter with the village's tavernas, bakeries and a sandy beach alongside.

Practical

Coordinate from mySea. About 86 berths plus 10 for local fishermen (municipal announcement, 2021); mySea lists around 100 berths for yachts up to 21 m and 4 m draught, depth to 4.5 m, stern-to on mooring lines, electricity (16–63 A), water, showers, laundry and repairs on request. 50 t crane, wet and dry winter storage, 24-hour cameras and guards (Benitses Marina). Permanent operating licence issued December 2022; run by Maritime Project under a long lease (Enimerosi). Shelter all-round (SailingIssues, ~2014); keep clear of the red light where there are shoals and stones; good holding in mud. For a lunch stop you can anchor in 3–4 m either side of the port (SailingIssues). Guest berths should be reserved in season (mySea). Shell museum 100 m south; Roman bath remains 150 m west of the beach (SailingIssues). Airport 20 minutes by car.
