Migration (Nov 2023): 'a snack is open for lunch just where the road to the quay meets the main road.' Coordinate is that junction, estimated from OpenStreetMap's church and village positions. The 2019 government atoll sheet lists one snack-bar and one snack on the atoll. Earlier reports (2011, 2019) found no restaurants, so ask about hours and days. Cash only is likely. Kauehi has 6 drinks licences (2019). Migration (Nov 2023) also rewards the 8 km walk from the SE corner with 'an ice cream when you get there', so ice cream is on sale in the village. Like the stores, it is likely shut on Sundays (Moon Rebel found the village closed on a Sunday, Nov 2018).
