Marina Puerto Blanco (Luperón)

19° 54.1′ N · 70° 57.3′ W · approximate

The cruiser-run marina on the west shore of Luperón harbor, with a dock, dinghy landing, restaurant-bar and secure parking that serves as the social hub of the anchorage.

Practical

Position approx: the marina office as mapped on OpenStreetMap; its pier extends east into the harbor. A Noonsite cruiser report (2015) praised its dock, dinghy dock, food and safety, and noted cars and motorcycles were kept safely there; another (2017) recommended avoiding a different operator, 'Marina Tropical'. No current published rates or VHF channel found: ask on the morning cruiser net or call on arrival. Fuel in Luperón historically came by jerry can from a small fuel barge or a local supplier on VHF 68; several cruisers reported contaminated diesel (2015), so filter everything. Prices older than 2024: verify locally.
