Cayos de los Siete Hermanos (Tororu Anchorage)
19° 49.6′ N · 71° 47.8′ W · approximate
Seven uninhabited cays in a national park west of Monte Cristi, where you will usually be the only boat, with lobster country among the rocks.
Practical
The Virgintino guide itself labels this an 'approximate position' for the anchorage on the south side of Tororu. Enter from the south between a coral shoal off the western corner and a natural breakwater of exposed rock and coral to the east; 10 ft over hard sand. Protected from NW through NE. National park: confirm with the Navy at Monte Cristi before you go, and check current fishing rules before taking lobster.
Best for
Remote, empty anchorages for self-sufficient crews
