Man of War Cay (Jumentos)
22° 48.4′ N · 75° 53.6′ W
A small cay south of Flamingo Cay that gives its name to Man of War Channel, one of the wide, deep breaks in the chain between the bank and the ocean.
Practical
Position from GeoNames (island). No cruising guide or review we could open describes an anchorage here, so treat it as a daytime landmark: Eric Wiberg (Tribune, 2026) notes that the channels north of Man of War Cay and south of Flamingo Cay are over three miles wide. Not to be confused with Man O' War Bay on Raccoon Cay or the Man-O-War Hill light on Ragged Island. Read the water: unsurveyed coral heads are common in the chain.
