Flamingo Cay Cave
22° 52.9′ N · 75° 52.1′ W · approximate
A sea cave in Flamingo Cay's west shore that you can drive a dinghy into at low tide, with striking rock formations inside and remains of a giant tortoise once found within.
Practical
Coordinate approx: placed on the shoreline between the ActiveCaptain Two Palms (22.8841) and Lighthouse (22.8793) anchorages, matching the sources' 'just south of the central anchorage'; noforeignland has a marker but its position could not be read. MV Privateer went in at low tide with just enough headroom; surge makes beaching the dinghy inside inadvisable, so keep someone aboard or hold off. The cave can also be reached on foot by a short trail from the beach. Go in calm conditions; bring a light.
