The Strip (North Bimini)

25° 45.9′ N · 79° 17.0′ W · approximate

A row of coral about 300 ft long running north-south off North Bimini, often used as the shallower second dive when the boat heads north.

Practical

Position is approximate: sources say only that it lies off the coast of north Bimini, so the point is set about 0.6 nm off the north-west shore near Bimini Road; do not navigate to it. Depth about 40 ft (Guy Harvey Outpost listing for Neal Watson's Bimini Scuba Center). A ScubaBoard poster lists Hawksbill Reef and The Strip among the few sites off North Bimini. Exposed to the west; current can run along the edge.
