Little Harbour Cay Anchorage
25° 35.2′ N · 77° 43.7′ W
A protected anchorage behind Little Harbour Cay with pockets of deeper water and dinghy access to Flo's and the nearby cays; many call it the best base in the Berries.
Practical
ActiveCaptain position. Protection from north round to south-southwest; open to the west, so leave before a cold front. Depths less than charted, about 6 ft at the marker with deeper pockets; anchor in sand to avoid weak holding in grass. Shallow-draft caution at the entrance (Noforeignland); enter on a rising half tide or better. Do not rely on any moorings you find here without inspecting them. Little Harbour Blue Hole lies about a mile west.
Best for
A protected base for Flo's and dinghy exploring
Season
Good N through SSW; leave before W fronts
