Saddleback Cay
25° 36.5′ N · 77° 44.0′ W · approximate
The twin-humped cay (the saddle) between White Cay and Devil's Cay that gives the White Cay anchorage its southern wall; a dinghy-landing beach and a landmark when picking the inside route.
Practical
Position approximate: north of the ActiveCaptain Devil's Cay passage marker, which lies on the rock ledge between Saddleback and Devil's. Anchor in the White Cay anchorage between Fowl, Little Gaulding, White and the Saddlebacks rather than off Saddleback itself. Use the cut north of Saddleback to get inside; the Saddleback-Devil's ledge is hard rock under 4 ft at low tide (May 2023).
