Exuma Sound Trolling Grounds off Highbourne & Norman's Cuts

Step out of any of the northern cuts and the bottom falls from 40 ft to 600 ft within a mile - the classic Exuma Sound edge where mahi, wahoo, blackfin and yellowfin follow the drop-off. Run a spread along the 100-fathom line and work the weed lines.
Practical
You need a Bahamas cruising/fishing permit (issued with your cruising permit); the standard allowance is six lines and strict limits on pelagics, and spearguns/scuba spearfishing are illegal Bahamas-wide. Critically: ALL fishing is prohibited inside the Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park, which begins at Wax Cay Cut - so fish north of that line or east well outside park boundaries.
