Oyster Cay (West) Anchorage

A small, almost always empty anchorage just south of Highbourne that makes a fine alternative when the main west anchorage is a parking lot. Sand bottom, clean water, nobody.
Practical
Adequate for a settled overnight only - wide open in every direction except east. Good holding in sand. No services; Highbourne marina is a 10-15 minute dinghy ride north in calm water. Watch the shoal that runs south from the cay.
