Allen's Cay Rock Iguana Population (Southwest Allen's Cay)
24° 44.7′ N · 76° 50.6′ W · approximate
The quieter half of the iguana experience: Southwest Allen's Cay (sometimes called U Cay) holds its own colony of the same endangered subspecies, without the tour-boat queue that hits Leaf Cay at 11:00.
Practical
Same rules - look, photograph, do not feed. Best visited early morning or after 16:00 once the Nassau day boats have left. Landing is on the small sand pocket on the lagoon side; keep clear of nesting burrows in the sand above the beach (nesting season roughly May-July).
Best for
Iguanas without the crowds
