Adler Beach, Hawksbill Cay

24° 29.2′ N · 76° 46.3′ W · approximate

A long, shelving arc of blinding-white sand running the length of the northern mooring field, so shallow and clear that your boat appears to be floating on air. Usually you will have most of it to yourself.

Practical

Easy dinghy landing at any tide near mid-beach; the northern end dries a long way at low water. No shade, no facilities. Shelling is tempting but shells and coral may NOT be removed - this is a park no-take zone. Good spot to launch kayaks or paddleboards toward the ruins beach.

Best for

A three-mile beach walk with nobody on it
