Mopion Sandbar
12° 32.8′ N · 61° 23.7′ W
A tiny sand cay on the reef north-west of Petit St Vincent, traditionally topped by a single thatched umbrella - the Grenadines in one photograph.
Practical
Position is the islet as mapped in OpenStreetMap. Visit by dinghy from the PSV anchorage, or anchor nearby only in settled conditions with good light; reefs surround it and Doyle's 'Mopion Channel' waypoint lies 0.2 nm to the north. No shade or facilities apart from the umbrella when it survives storms. Take all rubbish away.
