Bathway Beach

12° 12.8′ N · 61° 36.6′ W · approximate

Bathway Beach is a long Atlantic beach in the Levera area where an offshore reef shelf creates sheltered pools for swimming, a favourite weekend spot on north-east road trips.

Practical

Position is the OpenStreetMap beach (approx). It faces the Atlantic, so it is reached by land only, not by yacht. Wikivoyage warns that the north-coast beaches other than Sauteurs are exposed to the Atlantic, so swim only in the sheltered pools and only in calm conditions.
