Belmont Estate

12° 10.5′ N · 61° 37.6′ W · approximate

Belmont Estate is a 300-year-old working plantation in St Patrick with an organic cocoa farm, bean-to-bar chocolate, a goat dairy, a heritage museum and a Grenadian-Creole lunch restaurant. It is the classic stop on a northern island tour.

Practical

Position is the OpenStreetMap museum node, which matches Wikivoyage (approx). Wikivoyage (January 2023) lists Sunday to Friday 8 am–4 pm, phone +1 473 442 9524. Tours and restaurant tables can be booked online (GTA). The main cocoa harvest is November to February, with a smaller one April to June (Wikivoyage). An older Secret Harbour booklet quotes EC$13 for adults, which is out of date, so verify locally.
