12° 13.6′ N · 61° 38.4′ W · approximate
Leapers' Hill, also called Carib's Leap or Le Morne de Sauteurs, is the clifftop at Sauteurs where around forty Indigenous Kalinago people jumped to their deaths in 1650–51 rather than surrender to French colonists. It is marked today by a small cross-shaped monument.
Practical
Position is the OpenStreetMap viewpoint, which matches Wikivoyage (approx). It is in the town cemetery above Sauteurs, a short walk from the town centre. A former museum on the site is closed, and the Grenada National Trust plans to reopen it (Wikipedia). It is close to the Sauteurs breakwater anchorage.
