A shallow mainland anchorage just north of the commercial jetties, off the Phulay Bay resort. You dinghy in to the resort's pool deck and restaurants.

Southeast Asia Pilot waypoint 08°05.010N 98°44.493E, about 14 nm from Ao Nang. Anchor in 2-5 m about 600 m offshore. Several 4- and 5-star resorts line the coast to the south between the bulk cargo terminal and Laem Hang Nak, with similar depths all along. A NE-monsoon coast; open to the west and southwest.
