Everything a yacht needs for a quick restock sits within five minutes' walk of the Mae Haad piers: a 7-Eleven at the pier head, a row of supermarkets on the pier road and a small market.

Position is the market building on the Mae Haad pier road (OpenStreetMap, untagged marketplace). OpenStreetMap shows the Mae Haad 7-Eleven at the head of the piers, and Pen Market, Save Koh Tao, Pod and another supermarket together on the pier road; further 7-Elevens are on the main road toward Sairee and Chalok. Koh Tao Complete Guide: 24-hour ATMs are at every 7-Eleven; Bangkok Bank (9am–5pm daily, exchange to 7pm) and Krungsri are in Mae Haad; cards usually carry a 3–4% surcharge. A small night market sits near the 7-Eleven on the main road between Mae Haad and Sairee (fullmoonparty-thailand.com Koh Tao guide). The French Market at the south end of Mae Haad has pastries and a large wine cellar (Koh Tao Complete Guide). For a big provisioning run, the Lotus's, Big C and Tops supermarkets in Thong Sala, Koh Phangan, are far larger.
