Position is Ocean Medical Clinic on OpenStreetMap; its own site gives 1/53 Moo 2, about five minutes' walk from Mae Haad pier, open 9am–midnight daily, phone 077 423 801, with dive medicine and fit-to-dive checks. Koh Tao Complete Guide: private clinics in the three main areas treat wounds, do minor surgery, vaccinations and dive check-ups, and some test for dengue and malaria. Koh Tao also has a government hospital in Mae Haad with 24-hour emergency service and a hyperbaric chamber run with Ocean Medical (see Koh Tao Hospital and Ocean Medical Hyperbaric Chamber); serious cases are transferred by boat to Koh Samui, and bad weather can delay that.
