Laem Sak, a fishing village on the mainland headland east of the Chong Lat channel, has a seafood restaurant the Southeast Asia Pilot rates excellent, and it is reachable by dinghy.

Position approximate: the centre of Laem Sak village, from geotagged Commons photos of Wat Maha That Laem Sak; the Pilot does not name the restaurant or give its position. Go by dinghy at high tide, or land at the concrete jetty on the west side of the headland at the head of the mangrove creek. Ask in the village for the seafood restaurant.
