Koh Kudu Yai Lagoon
8° 11.4′ N · 98° 38.1′ E · approximate
The hong on Koh Kudu Yai's southern point is big enough that small speedboats can enter at most tides, and shoal-draft boats can even anchor inside overnight.
Practical
Position approximate: on the southern point of Koh Kudu Yai, south of the Southeast Asia Pilot anchorage waypoint (08°11.697N 98°38.029E). The entrance is the shallowest point. The Pilot advises sailing yachts not to try it, because many have gone aground; go in by dinghy instead. Don't run outboards inside hongs.
