Koh Sukorn (Ko Mu) Pier and Villages
7° 6.8′ N · 99° 35.0′ E
A quiet rural island of mostly Muslim villages, home to about 3,000 people and well off the tourist trail.
Practical
Wikipedia: Ko Sukorn (also Ko Mu, 'pig island') covers 12.33 km² in Palian district and is the only populated island of the 15-island Sukorn group. OpenStreetMap maps the Ko Sukon pier on the north side and the Laem Tase pier on the mainland opposite. No published yacht anchorage was found: the surrounding water is shallow, so approach only with local knowledge and on a rising tide. Position from the OpenStreetMap pier.
