Banana Beach (north-west Phuket)

A palm-backed beach between Nai Thon and Bang Tao, long a hidden gem reached by a jungle path. Late in 2025 the hilltop path closed and a car park and beach club opened at the north end, but the original Banana Beach Restaurant still serves seafood at the south end.

Coordinate from OSM. Rocky ends with decent coral and fish for snorkelling; gently sloping and safe for swimming Nov-Apr, with waves and debris in the low season. Car park 100 THB, toilets and showers 20 THB (Phuket 101, 2026). No pilot-guide anchorage; visit from the Nai Thon anchorage by dinghy in calm weather.
