Kamala Bay Anchorage

A wide bay with a busy village at its south end, recognisable from seaward by the big Phuket FantaSea structure. The north shore has beach clubs (Cafe Del Mar, HQ), Twin Palms Montazure, Novotel Kamala and the InterContinental.
Practical
Anchor well out in the bay in 6-8 m on sand (SEAP). A rocky patch lies 300 m off the headland; approach from the south with care. Hotels, restaurants and beach clubs ashore.

A village-and-beach-club stop between Patong and Bang Tao
