Amanpuri Bay Anchorage

A secluded bay below the Amanpuri and Twinpalms-area resorts, which the Southeast Asia Pilot calls one of the nicer bays on the west coast, with an excellent sandy beach and good snorkelling on both points.
Practical
Anchor outside the fringing reef in 15 m on sand (SEAP). Uncomfortable when NW swell runs in Feb and Mar. Yacht crews may use the hotel restaurants; reservations advised.
