Naka Lay Bay Anchorage (Patong north)

A bay on the north side of Patong Bay, beyond Kalim, with a concrete jetty at the Thavorn Beach Village resort. It is useful late in the season when westerly ground swell makes the main bay uncomfortable.

Practical

The concrete jetty runs out beyond drying fringing coral (SEAP). No depth is published; approach slowly and anchor clear of the coral. This is the closest pilot-guide anchorage to Kalim Beach, which has no separate Pilot entry.
