Nai Yang Bay Anchorage

8° 5.5′ N · 98° 17.5′ E

A sandy bay at the edge of Sirinat National Park, just south of the airport, with hotels and casual local restaurants under the trees. Wikivoyage names it a kite-surfing spot in the SW monsoon.

Practical

Approximately 8-10 m on sand. A reef outcrop lies in front of the hotels; anchor north or south of it, using the trees behind the hotels as a reference (SEAP). Much of the area is national park, and periodic crackdowns thin out the beach restaurants. Transport to town or the airport can be arranged.

Best for

Last night before flying out of HKT
