Kingfisher Park Mangrove Kayaking

A community-run mangrove park west of Coron town with guided kayak trips through mangrove tunnels, kingfisher birdwatching and night tours to see fireflies and bioluminescent plankton.

Position from OpenStreetMap (Kingfisher Park attraction). Coron-philippines.com: 20-30 minutes from Coron town; tricycle from the Coron market terminal about PHP 150 per person; park entrance and kayak rental paid at the gate; go 7am to 10am or late afternoon for day kayaking; agencies sell firefly/plankton night packages with van pickup. Wikivoyage (2026 edit): guided mangrove kayak PHP 500, trek of Mt Lunes Santo with bamboo-cooked lunch PHP 500, 'Starry Starry Night' firefly/plankton cruise PHP 200 (verify locally). From an anchored yacht, it is easiest by land from Coron town or from Busuanga Bay via the Q Vans road service.
