South Bay Anchorage (Uson Island)

A bay on the south side of Uson Island just southwest of Coron town, handy for CYC Beach and the Coron Island west-coast sights.
Practical
RCC/Plainsong (2025): 11 58.3N 120 10.6E. The NE wind bends east as it rounds Uson Island, so it was less sheltered than the South China Sea pilot suggests; uneven bottom of broken coral; the reef at the west end of the anchorage reaches a long way south. Plainsong would not strongly recommend it. Webb (2009) notes many anchorages around Port Uson but no supplies.
