CYC Beach
11° 57.8′ N · 120° 10.8′ E
A tiny islet beach a few minutes from town, named for the Coron Youth Club, with mangroves, clear shallows and huts where tours stop for lunch.
Practical
Wikivoyage: nice but very busy and historically the only free beach in the area; Travel in Coron (2026): bathroom and hut facilities, lunch PHP 100-150 if not included. Mapped in OpenStreetMap at Lajala. An easy dinghy hop from the Coron Town Anchorage in settled weather. Travel in Coron (2026): CYC is a stop on the standard Tour A (Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, CYC Beach, Skeleton Wreck), so it is crowded midday; come early or late by dinghy. Box jellyfish occasionally appear in shallow water April to June.
Best for
Quick swim close to town
