Snorkel· Coron Island· Philippines

Twin Lagoon

11° 56.9′ N · 120° 12.6′ E

Two lagoons on Coron Island separated by a limestone wall: at low tide you swim or paddle through a gap under the rock, at higher tides you climb a ladder over it into the warmer, layered inner lagoon.

Practical

Entrance PHP 200 per person (2026 guides; PHP 100 in 2018). No jetty: boats stop in the outer lagoon and you swim to the barrier; life vest required (Philstar 2026). Low tide opens the passage under the rock; at high tide use the walkway/stairs (Wikivoyage). The inner lagoon shows a visible warm-cool layering. Can be crowded midday; go early or late. Within the Tagbanwa ancestral domain: hire a licensed guide.
