Twin Lagoon Anchorage (Coron Island)

11° 56.4′ N · 120° 12.4′ E

A lagoon enclosed by sheer karst walls outside Twin Lagoon, quiet at night once the tour boats leave, with a swim-through into the inner lagoon.

Practical

Arnak (2013): 11 56.379N 120 12.423E in 22 m mud with a stern line to the rocks on the north side of the lagoon; the rock is razor sharp, so protect lines from chafe. Short dinghy ride to the inner lagoon, swim through for a fee (PHP 100 in 2013; PHP 200 in 2025-26 guides; verify locally). Good snorkelling along this coast and plenty of reef-guarded bays and lagoons to explore by dinghy. Very busy with tour bangkas by day. Part of the Tagbanwa ancestral domain: follow the rangers' rules.
